Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 August 2026
The short version
Hold To Crypto has no accounts, no logins, and no newsletter. We do not ask you for your name, email address, or any other personal detail, and there is nowhere on this site to give us one. What we do have is standard web analytics and third-party advertising, both of which are described below.
What we collect ourselves
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand which posts get read. It sets cookies and records your approximate location (country or city level, derived from your IP address), the pages you view, how long you stay, your device type, browser, and the site that referred you. We see this only in aggregate. IP addresses are handled by Google and are not exposed to us in a form that identifies you.
Our host, Netlify, keeps server-side request logs as part of running the site. This happens whether or not you allow scripts to run.
Advertising
Ads on this site are served by third-party advertising networks, currently Adsterra. We do not control what those networks collect. They may set their own cookies or use similar technologies to measure whether an ad was seen, to limit how often you see the same ad, and to select ads they judge relevant to you. That processing is governed by their privacy policies, not this one.
We are paid for ad impressions. We are not paid by, and do not endorse, any advertiser appearing here.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent data about you.
- We do not operate a mailing list, so we cannot email you.
- We do not run comment sections, so nothing you write is stored here.
- We do not knowingly collect anything from children under 13.
Your choices
You can block cookies in your browser settings, use a content blocker, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works without them; only the counting stops.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what is held about you, to have it deleted, or to object to it being processed. Because we hold no account data, such a request usually has to go to Google or to the ad network directly, but write to us via the contact page and we will point you to the right place.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it. There is no archive of previous versions.
